Have you heard about The South Atlantic Medal Association (SAMA). RHQ AAC have only just heard about SAMA and wish to pass on the details to you in the event you may wish to join.

SAMA has 5 varieties of membership:

a. FULL MEMBERSHIP. Reserved for those in possession of a south Atlantic Medal 1982. Fee on joining £10.

b. SPECIAL MEMBERSHIP. Granted to the next of kin of those who died on OP CORPORATE. No fee.

c. ISLAND MEMBERSHIP. For Falkland Islanders.

d. HONORARY MEMBERSHIP. Confered by SAMA Executive on anyone who has been of graet assistance in the management of SAMA affairs.

e. AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP. Granted to those with a special affection for the Islands. Lifetime fee of £50.
