The Army Air Corps Fund, which is a Registered Charity, has been established for the benefit of serving and retired members of the Army Air Corps (AAC) and their dependants. The Fund is controlled by the Trustees who are also members of the AAC Regimental Committee.

Approaches to the Fund may be made direct through the Regimental Secretary, or through the chain of command i.e. via your Squadron Commander or Commanding Officer or from one of the well known services charities such as the Royal British Legion (RBL)or the Soldiers Sailors and Air Forces Association (SSAFA). As a general rule if SSAFA or the RBL have not been involved initially the Regimental Secretary may call for a Case Worker from either agency to visit to assess the problem on the ground. Once the Case Workers report is received then the Regimental Secretary will approach the Trustees to seek their approval for assistance. Depending on the size and complexity of the problem the Regimental Secretary may well approach the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) or the Officers Association (OA) whichever is applicable to seek their help as well.

Considerable financial and personal resources are available to render help where it is needed and if you have made payments to the AAC Fund throughout your service by way of the ‘Days Pay Scheme’ then you can approach the AACA for help.

If you qualify and need advice call or write to the Regimental Secretary whose address is in the sales page of this website. You could also contact your local RBL or SSAFA branch whose telephone number you will find in your local telephone directory.
